Wade to miss third straight game for Bulls

Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade will miss his third consecutive NBA game Thursday against the Boston Celtics, this time with an illness after missing two with a wrist injury. The 35-year-old backcourt star, a three-time NBA champion with the Miami Heat and top scorer for the 2008 US Olympic gold medal squad, was absent from Thursday's practice. Wade, who joined the Bulls this season, will have another week to rest before Chicago takes the court again February 24 at home against Phoenix.

Time to shake up golf, head of European Tour says

By Ian Ransom MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Professional golf has long consisted of 72-hole tournaments played over four days - something that will have to change if the game wants to reach a new generation of fans, the head of the European Tour said. The tour's chief executive, Keith Pelley, has pledged to shake up the European circuit since taking over from George O'Grady in 2015, and a couple of innovative tournaments this year are part of that effort.

(Reuters) - The Kushner family, relatives of U.S. President Donald Trump through son-in-law Jared Kushner, said on Wednesday they will not pursue the purchase of the Miami Marlins if current owner Jeffrey Loria is nominated as U.S. ambassador to France. There were reports last week that the Kushner family were in talks to purchase the Marlins for $1.6 billion. ?Although the Kushners have made substantial progress in discussions for us to purchase the Marlins, recent reports suggest that Mr. Loria will soon be nominated by the President to be Ambassador to France,? the statement said.
